Each friend represents a character value that is needed in our world to make it a better place for all who live here. Every month we will learn about one friend and its character value. Our Character Value Friends™ come from all over the world. Most of our friends live on one of the seven continents. The continents are North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica.

Try your best to be like your friend each month and practice the Character Value of the Month at school and home. Together, we can make the world a better place!

Hamet lives in the rivers of Zambia. This hippo shows courage when he is in the water because he cannot swim or float. Hamet has learned to use his strong legs to bravely walk through the water.
