With over 40 years of experience in Early Childhood and Special Education, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. I studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Phoenix and have dedicated my career to fostering both structured learning and play-based exploration, ensuring each child receives the individual attention they deserve.
Before joining Children’s Lighthouse of Murrieta, I owned and operated a preschool in Santa Ana, California, serving children from ages 2 through 12 for 30 years. After selling the business, I pursued a career in Special Education in Southern Illinois, working closely with children and families with special needs. Eventually, I returned to Southern California to be closer to my loved ones and continue my work in early childhood education.
Outside of work, I cherish time with my two children and two grandchildren, who keep me busy with their activities. I also enjoy camping, horseback riding, traveling, and exploring new dining experiences.
I am excited to be part of the Children’s Lighthouse team and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our children and families.

My family is my greatest joy. I share my life with my husband, Ron, our three wonderful adult children—Chris, Jennifer, and Michelle—and our five beautiful grandchildren—Landon, Sean, Brooklynn, Michael, and Kailey. Having lived in this community for 32 years, I have witnessed its many changes, but one constant has remained: the need for high-quality early childhood education. My passion has always been, and continues to be, creating safe, loving, and educationally enriching environments where children can thrive.
With over 30 years of experience in Child Development, I have dedicated my career to providing nurturing spaces that support both children and their families. Every community deserves at least one center where parents can feel confident that their children are receiving the very best care and education. My background includes degrees in Early Childhood Education and Business. I have had the privilege of working with Mt. San Jacinto College as part of the Director Mentor Program and have been the Founding Director of multiple early learning centers in this valley. My journey began as a playground supervisor, then as a teacher, and eventually into leadership roles—each step reinforcing my love for this field. Children bring so much joy, curiosity, and honesty to the world, and I consider it a true blessing to be part of their growth. While some days bring challenges, every moment spent nurturing and guiding young minds is time well spent.I am proud to be part of the team at Children’s Lighthouse in Murrieta and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our children, their families, and our dedicated staff. My door is always open—whether to discuss any concerns, share ideas, or simply connect. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
