As of July 1st 2009 we hired Ashlie Dorman to run and maintain our private preschool as our Managing Director. She has been in childcare since 1997. She holds a Director's license with the state of Texas and has previously worked side by side with the owner in the past. We have known Ashlie for a long time and are extremely excited that she has chosen to be a part of our Lighthouse family. She has three beautiful children Gavin, Brooklyn and Colton. Ashlie feels that not only does she have three children at home to look after, but two hundred to look after and genuinely care about each day.
Our Assistant Director, Melissa Strey, has been with the Lighthouse family since 2012. She has experience in all classrooms and has been involved in all aspects of our center. Prior to being promoted to Assistant Director she was our Curriculum Specialist and has been a part of our management team since 2013. Melissa will assist the Owner and Director on a daily basis.
