We love Childrens Lighthouse! It's been almost a year since my kids started at the school (ages 9 and 4). My 4 year old could not write her name when she first started. Within a couple of months, I saw changes in her eagerness to learn and her knowledge of simple math and reading her sight words. The teachers at Childrens Lighthouse truly care about the kids. The after-school program is very good as well. The teachers keep the kids focused and busy and not just hanging around. We appreciate them! The front desk staff are always very cheerful and greet each parent with a smile. Thank you Lighthouse!

Children’s Lighthouse has been a dream come true for our family. Our son has been loved, loved, loved from the first day he set foot in the school. He is exposed to so many different things each day, and he brings them home and shares them with us in his unique toddler way. We are so grateful that he has learned to love and care for his friends and to show care and concern when someone is hurt or sad. He lights up at the mere mention of his teachers’ names. Every morning, I ask, “Do you want to go to school?†and he lights up like a firecracker, immediately naming off all of his friends. Thank you for the difference you’ve made to our son and our family!

God recently blessed us with the responsibility of raising our grandchildren. So, I was looking for an educational type childcare in order to meet my needs and at the same point provide my granddaughter, Ava, a strong educational foundation. I feel confident in making the decision in placing her in the educational childcare program at Childrens Lighthhouse. Their open door policy makes us feel welcome at all times. It gives me comfort in knowing my granddaughter is safe and secure with the "Watch Me Grow" cameras in the classroom that I can access from my home or work computer. Their phonics and math based curriculum builds a solid foundation for learning and preparing her for kindergarten. The things Ava is learning amaze both my family and friends. Childrens Lighthouse strenthens us with the Character Values both taught and modeled. They provide us with support system that has benefitted our granddaughter. We could not have done it withiout the support from the staff at Childrens Lighthouse. After a lot of discussion and several visits, my husband and I made the decision to move our children from their previous daycare to the Childrens Lighthouse, and we have been extremely pleased with our choice. From the first day, my older child has responded so positively. At our previous school, drop-off time was very chaotic. Here, I was immediately impressed with how structured the time was. Although there were the same number of children in the class, all of them were actively engaged in activities, happy, and well-behaved. My son has continued to thrive, and I am so impressed with what he is doing and learning everyday.
My daughter has developmental delays, and finding a center willing to work with her at her current level and ability and work with her therapists was extremely important to us. Her teachers have far exceeded our hopes and expectations. Since enrolling, the progress my daughter has made has been phenomenal. Her therapists have commented on more than one occasion about how receptive the teachers have been to their input, how well they were putting into practice the techniques, even during free-play. My daughter has bonded with each of her teachers, and I can tell they have bonded with her as well.
The administrative staff has been helpful and takes the time to greet each child by name everyday. They are quick to address any concerns or answer questions and have been so helpful. Overall, we have been very pleased with our decision to enroll our children at Childrens Lighthouse.

My son has been attending since he was three months. I love the care and love everyone on the staff gives the children. This is not your ordinary "daycare"; this is a learning center. My four year-old can write his name, recite the presidents, and is beginning to learn how to read! I drop him off knowing I made great decision. This is his second home. Thank you CLLC!

We noticed a great improvement in communication in our daughter's every day life after we brough her to Childrens Lighthouse in Wylie. The center is educationally foucused; as a result, our daughter can read and write. The friendly staff and other activities like learnding piano, soccer, and computer at this center opens up more learning oppurtunities for my daughter.

Our family cannot express the love we have for Childrens Lighthouse. Our little girl started coming to school here when she was four months old. We have been so happy from the day she started. Her teachers have always been so loving and helpful. They have shown her warmth and compassion when her daddy and I have been at work. We feel so blessed that God has provided a place for our precious daughter. She is happy each day, and we see pure joy in her eyes when she is there with her little friends. I love how she is stimulated and is learning. Even as an infant, I noticed her great sense of awareness. I believe Childrens Lighthouse has played a huge role in her cognitive development. Childrens Lighthouse has been the greatest gift God could have given us and for that we are truly grateful.

My oldest daughter, Ava, has been here since age one. The teachers are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. My only issue is that the school stops at Kindergarten. I would love for Ava to remain here forever.
