Hello, my name is Denise Lusk, and I am the Director at Children’s Lighthouse of Woodforest. I began my time here in 2021, with a background in education and law enforcement. I have worked in different roles throughout the school, which has helped me gain understanding and appreciation of all we do at our school every day for our students, families, and staff.
I am married to the love of my life, Steven, whom I have been happily married for over 20 years. Steven works as the Vice President at Assurance Filtration, he is often here at the school, offering a helping hand. My daughter Stephanie is graduating Texas Woman’s University, Summa Cum Laude, and will enter the field of Law, and I’m proud to say she also worked here at Children’s Lighthouse her senior year of high school! My son Michael just graduated High school and is currently pursuing the Radiology Program at Lone Star College in the Woodlands.
I am a very proud parent, which drives my dedication to providing a safe, loving, and educational environment, and it is my daily focus to ensure these goals and perspectives are carried forward throughout the Children’s Lighthouse Family. Thank you for your trust in caring for your children, as I know very well, it is the most important thing a person can give another.
