Michael and Kayla Dority are the proud owners of Children’s Lighthouse at Tuscan Lakes. Kayla was raised in the nearby community of Friendswood, Texas. After graduating from Friendswood High School, Kayla attended the University of Houston where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance – Go Coogs! Originally from California, Michael found his home in the League City area after graduating from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Michael and Kayla were introduced through mutual friends in 2012and have been happily married since March 2018.  

As new parents, we have the highest expectations for our daughter’s early education and development. While researching potential childcare franchises, we immediately felt a connection with the Children’s Lighthouse brand because of our shared passion for education, family ownership, hard work, and serving the community.   

Our journey to open Children’s Lighthouse at Tuscan Lakes has been monumental. In the past couple years, we have worked diligently with the franchise, Johnson Development, our construction team, and the City of League City to bring our dream to fruition. Our goal is to provide the best early childhood education experience to every family that walks through our doors. 

We are very excited to be a part of Tuscan Lakes and the surrounding communities. We look forward to serving families for many years to come!
