With over 12 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Rebecca has dedicated her career to fostering nurturing and engaging learning environments for young children. Her journey with Children's Lighthouse has been extensive, allowing her to serve in multiple roles—from teacher to administrator and school director—before stepping into her current role as Executive Director. This hands-on experience has given her a deep understanding of the needs of both children and families, as well as the educators who help shape their futures.
As a devoted advocate for early childhood education, Ms. Rebecca believes that the foundation for lifelong learning begins in the first few years of a child's life. She is passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to high-quality education, structured curriculum, and the importance of social-emotional development.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Rebecca understands that a child’s success is rooted in strong family connections. She is devoted to building a bridge between school and home, ensuring that parents feel engaged, informed, and supported in their child’s learning journey. Through open communication, family involvement, and a strong school culture, she strives to make Children's Lighthouse a true extension of each child’s home.
Ms. Rebecca’s dedication to education is also reflected in her own family life. She and her husband, Tyler, are proud parents to three wonderful children—Aaron (10), Amberlynn (8), and Katherine (7). As both an educator and a mother, she knows firsthand the importance of choosing a school that fosters not only academic growth but also a sense of belonging and community.
Ms. Rebecca looks forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and teachers, ensuring that Children's Lighthouse remains a place where learning, love, and leadership shine every day.

My name is Alexandria Thomas, and I am honored to serve as an Area Director for Children's Lighthouse. I joined the company in January 2024, bringing a deep passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to shaping young minds. Before stepping into this role, I spent several years as a School Director and Executive Director, and before that, I was a Pre-K teacher—where my love for education and child development truly began. For me, working in this field is more than just a career; it’s a calling. I believe in the power of early education and the incredible impact it has on a child’s future. My greatest joy comes from building lasting relationships with children, families, and staff—creating an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired. I strive to be a strong advocate for both educators and families, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement they need to thrive. Beyond my professional life, I am a proud fur mom to my dachshund, Tex, and my Old English Bulldog, Millie. I was born and raised in North Texas, though I spent a few years in Tennessee before returning to my roots. Each day, I wake up with the goal of making a difference—no matter how big or small—because I know that the children we guide today will be the leaders who shape the world tomorrow.
