At Children's Lighthouse Trinity Falls, we are proud to have Ms. Michelle Craig leading our school with over 35 years of experience in early childhood education. Originally from England, Ms. Michelle attended an all-girls school before studying Art and Design in college. Her passion for travel brought her to Texas in her early twenties, where she worked as a live-in nanny—an experience that sparked her lifelong dedication to working with children.
Ms. Michelle’s career in early childhood education began as a lead teacher in an infant classroom. During this time, she earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and played a key role in helping her school achieve NAEYC Accreditation. This achievement led to her first leadership role as a Center Director in Katy, Texas, and since then, she has remained devoted to providing children with safe, nurturing environments where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
As the Director of Children's Lighthouse Trinity Falls, Ms. Michelle is passionate about creating a warm and enriching learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired. She believes that early childhood education is the foundation for a lifetime of learning and success, and she is committed to fostering a school culture that promotes meaningful experiences, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Outside of work, Ms. Michelle enjoys organizing and decorating her home, vegetarian cooking, and baking delicious cakes and desserts. She is married to a Texan, and together, they have two wonderful sons. In her free time, you’ll often find her relaxing with a good movie or watching The Great British Baking Show.
Ms. Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the Children’s Lighthouse family and looks forward to building strong connections with the families at Trinity Falls. She welcomes the opportunity to partner with parents in their child’s educational journey and is dedicated to ensuring that every child at Children's Lighthouse feels loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
