Our school’s center director, Lee Anne Wardwell, began her career in the Early Childhood field in 2004. Her first endeavor was teaching “mommy and me music and play classes”. During that time, she found a true love for teaching young children, bonding with parents and implementing curriculum. She earned her Associate of Arts degree through Tarrant County College with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and then went on to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management at Texas Woman’s University.
In 2006, Lee Anne joined Children's Lighthouse helping open two centers, finding her home in 2008 with Children’s Lighthouse Saginaw. She enjoys being a part of all aspects of the day, from assisting families and children to mentoring teachers. When asked why she has chosen to part of Children’s Lighthouse Saginaw and she said, “As a longtime resident of North Fort Worth, I have such a love for this community and providing a safe and loving environment for the children in our area. I have seen my three children and hundreds more come through our program. It is amazing to see all that they learn and take with them when they move on to elementary school. I cannot imagine working for a better company or owner. I am very proud to be a part of Children’s Lighthouse family.”
