My name is Julie Carter and I am the operating partner and owner of the Children's Lighthouse of Oak Point. As the owner, I give you my assurance that our center will be exceptional in every way. It is my belief that the families of the 380 corridor deserve a premier educational childcare facility. Our center is special and unique as we are a true educational childcare facility with incredible curriculum. We have assembled an amazing management team and nurturing and loving teachers, all who are extremely passionate about children and education. Our center is a safe and happy place for the children, full of education, fun, and lots of music and art. Our mission is to develop each and every child socially, intellectually and emotionally. As for a little about me, I grew up in the Dallas area as a twin, played collegiate tennis and graduated from Texas A&M in Accounting, and was recently a resident in Emerald Sound in Oak Point. As a CPA, I spent several years in public accounting for Price Waterhouse Coopers. For the past 22 years, I have owned a Nationwide Insurance Agency in the Dallas area. I have 2 sons who are now off to college. I enjoy playing tennis, camping and hiking, and volunteering at animal charities and the Hope Food Bank in Aubrey. I have always had a real passion for children and am looking forward to making an impact on the little ones of our wonderful community for many years to come!
