About Ms. Hunter:
Hello! I am proud to serve as the Assistant Director at Children’s Lighthouse and am passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment for every child and family who walks through our doors. I bring a diverse background in education that includes swim school management, curriculum development, grade school teaching, and working as a dyslexia specialist supporting students from kindergarten through high school. My journey has also allowed me to serve as a curriculum coordinator, center director, and vocal director for a music school, all experiences that shaped my love for helping children grow and succeed.
Before stepping fully into education leadership, I spent four exciting years performing as a vocalist, dancer, and entertainer with Universal Parks & Resorts and The Walt Disney Company, where I developed strong creativity, confidence, and connection with people. Most importantly, I am a proud mother to my two-year-old son, Braxton, who inspires me daily to ensure children are cared for, supported, and encouraged to love learning. I truly enjoy meeting new families, building relationships, and helping support any needs you may have! I look forward to connecting with you!

About Mrs. Britny
Hi! My name is Britny, and I have been working in early childhood education for over 10 years. I joined Children’s Lighthouse two years ago as a teacher ,and I truly love what I do. Watching children learn, grow, and build confidence each day is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where every child feels loved and supported. I also enjoy building strong relationships with families and working alongside my team to help each child succeed.
In October 2023, my family and I made the exciting move from Minnesota to Texas. My husband, Justin, and I have two wonderful sons, Sawyer and Rhodes, who keep us busy and bring so much joy to our lives.
When I’m not at Children’s Lighthouse, I also work as a server. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family, relaxing with a good Netflix series, and making memories with the people I love most.
I am so excited for the opportunity to work with you and your family. I look forward to getting to know you and your child and helping make their time at Children’s Lighthouse a fun, safe, and meaningful experience!
