About Ms. Hunter:
Hello! I am proud to serve as the Assistant Director at Children’s Lighthouse and am passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment for every child and family who walks through our doors. I bring a diverse background in education that includes swim school management, curriculum development, grade school teaching, and working as a dyslexia specialist supporting students from kindergarten through high school. My journey has also allowed me to serve as a curriculum coordinator, center director, and vocal director for a music school, all experiences that shaped my love for helping children grow and succeed.
Before stepping fully into education leadership, I spent four exciting years performing as a vocalist, dancer, and entertainer with Universal Parks & Resorts and The Walt Disney Company, where I developed strong creativity, confidence, and connection with people. Most importantly, I am a proud mother to my two-year-old son, Braxton, who inspires me daily to ensure children are cared for, supported, and encouraged to love learning. I truly enjoy meeting new families, building relationships, and helping support any needs you may have! I look forward to connecting with you!
