I began my journey at Children’s Lighthouse of Woodland Springs in February 2019 and have had the joy of serving in many roles; Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Closing Manager, Assistant Director, and now School Director. Each step has given me a deeper appreciation for the work we do, but my favorite role of all has been wife to my wonderful husband, (married since March 2019) and mom to my energetic 3-year-old son.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, diving into crochet projects and word searches, and proudly embracing my “granny hobbies.” I studied Child Psychology and Music at Charleston Southern University, and as a lifelong musician (and trumpet player!), I’ll always be a “band kid” at heart. Around the school, you’ll often catch me singing show tunes, dancing down the hallways, or sneaking in snuggles with all the babies.
I am passionate about creating a safe, joyful, and supportive environment for every child and family that walks through our doors, and I’m so thankful to be a part of this amazing community.
