Meet the Owners: The Noonans

Hi! I’m Kristi. My husband, Brendan, and I are the proud parents of two Children’s Lighthouse students, CLH Class of ‘21 and CLH Class of ‘26, and have loved the experience. We are very excited to be new CLH franchise owners and are actively looking to build a new school in Chicago’s North Shore. As parents, we’ve seen first-hand the power of CLH’s research-based curriculum. It’s been incredible to watch the social and intellectual development in both our children as they grew at Lighthouse, and we want to offer that same nurturing and empowering environment for other families.

I’ve spent the last 20+ years building companies as a marketer with a range of clients from small businesses and start-ups to global, Fortune 500 brands. As a natural leader, I have always been passionate about coaching and mentoring future talent, and solving problems with creativity. I co-founded and led a Women’s Employee Resource group to drive gender equity. I supported working parents by setting up parents resources such as navigating “Covid parenting”. Most recently, I led marketing efforts for a women’s leadership company, where I supported thousands of mid-level women in advancing their careers. I currently serve as Chapter Chair for the Chicago Chapter of the Star Legacy Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the reduction and support of pregnancy and infant loss, and I volunteer as a patient partner to Northwestern Hospital with the Illinois Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (ILPQC).

Helping people - namely women, children and families - is my life’s passion. Supporting our community through CLH is a deeply personal mission for me.  After experiencing the full-term stillbirth of our daughter Grace a few years ago, I decided to make a pivot to early education and childcare, where I could make a direct impact on the lives of children and families every day.

Education has always been a #1 priority for Brendan. He’s the resident “homework helper” in our home.  Having attended a top private college prep school in the D.C. area, Harvard for undergrad, and University of Texas for Graduate school, he consistently says his most impactful educational years were those spent in the early years at Blue Bird Day School in his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. He is excited to provide children and families with the strong foundation he experienced as a child.

We’re driven by a desire to build a "village" – a place where children can develop confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of learning, and where parents will find a supportive community. We’re not just opening a school; we’re building a legacy, a place where children and families can flourish. And we hope you will consider joining us in this mission.
