Meet your Administration Team

Hello, my name is Mikahla Adrian. I have been the Director at Children’s Lighthouse of Brushy Creek for four years and am a proud Children's Lighthouse mom. I am happily married and have an amazing son named Cade.

A bit about me: I grew up in a small Texas town with just 3,000 people. In high school, I majored in Agriculture and was an active member of my local FFA chapter. After graduating, I planned to study Agricultural Business to find ways to teach young children about FFA and its significant impact on my life. However, I soon discovered my passion for working with children, drawn in by their joy and laughter. This led me to pursue a career in teaching. I started as a teacher at a local preschool and eventually worked my way up to becoming a director.

As a director, my mission is to ensure that our families and their children receive the highest-quality care and service. I have experience teaching children of all ages, primarily infants through two-year-olds, and I hold a Child Development Associate credential in Infant Education. I am committed to partnering with my team to ensure that our program sets the standard for excellence in Early Childhood Education.

Hello! My name is Courtney, though many know me as Ms. Coco at Children's Lighthouse. I serve as the curriculum coordinator and the new hire trainer. I’m also a mom to two little girls who love being part of the Children’s Lighthouse family.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children. I used to tell anyone who asked that I dreamed of becoming an elementary school art teacher. I’ve always enjoyed being around kids—playing with them, being silly, and watching them grow each day. I’m passionate about making learning fun and showing children that each day is a new adventure.

I’ve been working with children for 13 years, though I took a break after having my first daughter to enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. Before long, I realized how much I missed full-time childcare and returned to it with renewed enthusiasm. I started as the Lead Teacher in Room 9 and have since worked my way up to the curriculum coordinator position, where I’ve now been for almost two years.

I have experience teaching children of various ages, with a certification in lead teaching for pre-k to school-aged children, and I’m currently working on my Child Development Associate in Preschool Education. As your curriculum coordinator, I am committed to making learning fun while maintaining the high standards of education that Children’s Lighthouse is known for.

Growing up, my parents always told me to "find a job doing something you love," and I’m grateful to have found just that here at Children’s Lighthouse.

Hello! My name is Lyric Moss. I have been the Administrative Assistant at Children's Lighthouse of Brushy Creek for over 1 year!

A little bit about me, I grew up in the Fort Worth area and moved down to Austin about 8 years ago! I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with my dog in my free time! I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work with kiddos! I truly love watching children grow, not only academically but emotionally. Getting to see their little smiles and watching their personalities shine is the best part of it all! I have been in the Early Childhood Education Field for 6 years now, and I plan to be here for many more! I have also worked with many different age groups, ranging from 8 weeks to 11 years! As well as I am also currently working towards my Child Development Associate in Preschool Education.
