Kelsie Newman is originally from Texas but has been in Chicago for 12 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Child Development with a specialization in Administration from Erikson Institute. Kelsie has been a Center Director for 6 years, and before that taught children ages infant through 3 years old. She is excited to bring her passion for a sense of community in early childhood centers to Children's Lighthouse. In her spare time, Kelsie enjoys spending time with her dog, Haiden.

Sujuan has been in the childcare field for for over 29 years with 17 of those years being in leadership roles at other facilities. Children are her passion! She graduated from Malcolm X City College and received her degree in Applied Science & Early Childhood Development. She recently attended National Louis University to further her studies in childcare management. Sujuan is our Lead Twos Teacher and helps administer our amazing curriculum school wide.
